In 1991, Marjorie M. Brown, field director of marketing and communication in Miami, FL, developed the EACH ONE REACH ONE program. This mentorship program provides financial assistance to members seeking educational opportunities.
In 2004, Marjorie M. Brown, Postmaster, Atlanta, GA, developed the WOMEN ON THE MOVE program. This program is designed to profile leaders with high potential for increased responsibility and accountability in the postal service. It is open to EAS 19 and above NETWORK members currently prepared to move into EAS-22 through PCES positions.
In 2008, Debra Jones, Manager of Business Service Operations, developed THE DARE TO SOAR program, which is managed by Vinnie Malloy, District Manager/Postmaster, New York, NY. This program allows EAS 15-18 NETWORK members to demonstrate technical knowledge and the ability to manage people.
In 2013, Charisse I. Ingraham, HQ project manager, developed the Sister-Adopt-A-Sister (currently known as My Sister's Keeper) program. This program is designed to mentor, coach, and prepare our sisters to develop skills and abilities to help them reach the next level.
NETWORK yearly dues are $50. In 1985, the VIVIAN K. LOTT SCHOLARSHIP FUND was established in Nashville, TN. $5 of NETWORK dues supports this fund, which provides scholarships for cancer research and supports the United Negro Scholarship College Fund.

Meet Our Chairperson
Jacqueline Erwin

NETWORK, an organization formed in 1984 by a group of postal women who knew then the power of the collective efforts of strong women. The individuals were determined to make a difference for other women within the Postal Service. Today, we can stand in pride through the tenacity and resilience of those who blazed an indelible trail. Scroll down to read more inspirational words from the Chairperson.
I am honored to lead this great organization, rich with talent, fortitude, and wisdom. Together, we will take NETWORK to greater heights and deeper depths, daring to be bolder than ever. As the National NETWORK Chairperson, I am personally committed to growing the organization, helping to develop and empower women as they step out of their comfort zones and flourish using their talents, skills, and abilities to make the Postal Service better.
Each member has something unique to offer and is endowed with their gifts. Therefore, I invite everyone to share their experiences, ideas, and talents with one another for personal growth and to expand NETWORK. There is a proverb that says, “Your gift will open doors for you and bring you before great people.” However, you must use your gift for this proverb to be true. As we forge forward, I challenge you to “re-gift” yourself to NETWORK. William Ross said it best in his poem: "The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.”
Thank you all for your continued dedication and support to help others through NETWORK’s mission and vision.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Erwin
